Relcer gel is an oral antacid and anti-flatulent gel used in the prevention and treatment of acidity, belching, bloating and intestine ulcers. Basically, it is used to treat bad gas, burning sensation inside the stomach, and heartburn along with all the intestinal disorders. This medicine is a combination of one antifoaming and two antacids medicines. The manufacturer of this medicine is Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.The generic name of Relcer gel is  Aluminium Hydroxide.The combination of generics is Dried Alum, Deglycyrrhizinised Liquorice, Hydroxyl Aluminium, Magnesium, and Activated Dimethicone or Simethicone.Every 5 ml of this medicine contains Aluminium Hydroxide Gel 6g, Magnesium Hydroxide 80 mg, Liquorice 400 mg, and Dimethicone 100 mg.HOW DOES IT WORK?Usually, liquid antacids work faster than the tablets. As a liquid antacid,Relcer gel works best for removing the existing acid in the stomach.The presence of Dimethicone as an active ingredient prevents the formation of gas and helps to ease the expulsion of gas as well. It keeps you free from bloating and fullness of stomach also.This medicine helps in the thinning of mucus secretions and increases the chemicals in your body which helps to heal the ulcers in your stomach.The presence of Aluminium Hydroxide in this medicine not only neutralises the present acid in the stomach but neutralises the releasing of new acid. It helps to bind the phosphate in your gastrointestinal tract.The antifoaming properties present in this medicine reduces the flatulence with its mucosal protective nature. WHAT ARE ITS USES?The primary use of Relcer gel is to get rid of acidity and gas.
